Eugene Weekly Cover Photo Leads To Art Exhibition

Eugene Weekly's July cover photo of two homeless girls prompted one local artist to put together an art show exhibiting the work of Weekly photographers Todd Cooper and Trask Bedortha:

The show . . . features photos of Eugene locals as well as visiting musicians and activists. Portraits include shots from a story on homeless teens, “The Dispossessed,” Zimbabewean musician and Eugene resident Thomas Mapfumo, Native American activist and former vice presidential candidate Winona LaDuke, Haitian attorney and agonomist Jean André Victor, Congressman Peter DeFazio and Governor John Kitzhaber.
