Sorry it’s taken me so long between posts. My excuses: Vacations (mine and other staff members), illness and travel. I’m going to try to catch up in the next few days. In the meantime, thanks to everyone who has said nice things about this blog. It has worked out so well that we’re going to turn it into a staff blog, so there will be more frequent posts and you’ll be able to hear from the other AAN staff members as well. The goal is to provide you with as much information as possible about what is happening at your association. We’ll start on that sometime next week.
I also need to apologize for not yet following through on my promise to respond to a suggestion in the post-convention survey to “make an effort to hold future conventions at independent hotels.” It’s taking us a little longer than I expected to run that down. I won’t make any more promises other than to say I’ll address the issue here sometime soon.
