L.A. Weekly senior features editor Tom Christie has left the paper after 15 years, according to Fishbowl LA:
“I had a great run,” he tells FBLA, “but I’m very much looking forward to moving on.”
Christie says he has no idea how is departure will affect the L.A. Weekly‘s arts coverage–which he’d been in charge of for years.
AAN featured Christie in this 2006 “How I Got That Story” interview in which he discussed the perennial challenge of keeping ‘Best Of’ lists fresh, an occasion he likened to tax season: You just kick it into gear when you need to.
