AAN in NOLA: Pew Director Tom Rosenstiel To Keynote ‘State of the Media’ Speech

Author and journalist Tom Rosenstiel will discuss the State of the News Media at AAN’s Annual Convention in New Orleans on the morning of Friday, July 22.

A journalist for more than 30 years, Rosenstiel designed the Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism which publishes the annual State of the News Media report on American journalism.

Rosenstiel’s speech will discuss both editorial and advertising issues, with a particular focus on alt-weeklies and competitors.

Tom Rosenstiel’s newest book, with Bill Kovach, is Blur: How to Know What’s True in the Age of Information Overload.
