For the second year in a row, City Paper in Baltimore hired filmmaker and multimedia artist Drury Bynum to create a short film intended for viewing during their 21st annual Best of Baltimore party this past week (9/21/06) as well as for future televised commercial use. The films were a creative solution to the forty flat screens in the Rams Head Live! venue (a 1500 capacity space in downtown Baltimore). Publisher Don Farley thought it would be more interesting to show something completely unique to the product as opposed to commercial videos or other standard visuals.

Bynum is a well known local artist whose film work extends the visual motifs of his eerie, surrealist paintings into short scenes that range from humorous to perverse. The film may be viewed at the following link: http://drurybynum.com/citypaper/fullFeature.html
