AAN's Diversity Committee has released the findings of a survey on the demographic makeup of alt-weekly newsrooms.

The fund provides grants of up to $1,000 as well as free admission to the AAN Convention in Detroit.

The scholarships provide up to $500 towards travel and lodging to attend AAN's 2012 Annual Convention in Detroit, and the recipients will have their conference registration fee waived.
