Atlanta, Ga. — October 12, 2004 — A special “PRE-DEBATE” Edition of Creative Loafing’s Political Party, co-sponsored by Hands On Atlanta, will be held at Dad’s Garage on Oct. 13.
To spur public interest in politics, Creative Loafing, Hands On Atlanta and Dad’s Garage Theatre have put together a series of informal discussions with local celebrities, musicians, politicians and media on the second Wednesday of every month.
Come join us as we gather in the intimate settings of Dad’s Garage Theatre for an hour and a half of candid conversation and informed debate about the news and happenings important to all Atlantans. Our panels are culled from the city’s most engaging and concerned personalities.
Creative Loafing Editor Ken Edelstein will moderate, while Malikah Berry of Hands On Atlanta takes audience questions. The October lineup includes:
- Libertarian U.S. Senate candidate Allen Buckley
- Atlanta City Council member H. Lamar Willis
- Republican Rep. Earl Earhart
- And More!
Doors open at 7 p.m. and start at 7:30 p.m. Dad’s Garage Theatre is located at 280 Elizabeth St. in Inman Park near Little Five Points. The show is free.
