Folio Weekly has hired Denise Reagan as its new editor:

Reagan, a current assistant managing editor at the Florida Times-Union, is a Jacksonville native who has worked previously at the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the Minneapolis Star Tribune and the Detroit Free Press … “I feel like I’ve always had a bit of an altweekly vibe,” she says, adding that the idea of working “in a place where that is not only accepted but expected is very exciting.”

Reagan replaces Anne Schindler, who announced last month that she is departing after 17 years with the paper.
