PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh City Paper has launched CPtv on its website www.pghcitypaper.com. CPtv airs “Lynn Cullen Live” via a live, streaming webcast every Monday through Friday from 10 am – 11 am. Local broadcasting legend Lynn Cullen hosts the hour-long show that first aired in August 2009.

Cullen’s loyal listener-base now has the option to watch the video stream, as well as listen to the audio portion of the show on CPtv. “The video camera gives a new dimension to the show. Lynn is extremely animated in her gestures and very passionate. Listeners can now see that aspect during the show,” said Traci Schneider, “Lynn Cullen Live” producer.

CPtv also features video clips from local news stories published in the print edition of CP, webcasts highlighting CP produced and sponsored events and promotions, photos from the city’s most popular events, and movie trailers. “CPtv is a multimedia approach to promoting City Paper’s events and promotional partners, and gives new opportunities to advertisers to sponsor webcasts and receive on-site event coverage,” said Gina Mignogna, City Paper’s Marketing & Promotions Director. CPtv advertisers also have the ability to air television quality commercials during a fifteen-second pre-roll. “This creates an interactive approach to marketing your business with City Paper,” said Mignogna.
