Village Voice staff writers Steven Thrasher, Camille Dodero and Victoria Bekiempis were laid off today, reports The New York Observer.

Thrasher was recently named journalist of the year by the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association.

Three weeks ago, sister papers City Pages (Twin Cities) laid off reporter Gregory Pratt and OC Weekly laid off staff writer Josh Dulaney. When reached at the time, VVM’s Andy Van De Voorde declined to comment on the possibility of layoffs at the chain’s other papers.
