The Colorado Springs Independent and the four Creative Loafing newspapers (Atlanta, Charlotte, Tampa and Sarasota) are the latest AAN papers to offer their readers Sutcliffe Associates’ SelectAlternatives online personals product.
Twenty-two AAN papers now utilize the SelectAlternatives personals system.
New feature: MySearch added to all SelectAlternatives sites.
MySearch allows registered users to create and store their own personal set of search criteria and be notified whenever new members match their profile preferences. Unlike traditional “matching” programs that introduce members to each other based on predetermined system-wide matching criteria (i.e. age range, sexual preference, location), MySearch enables users to decide — for themselves — what criteria are important to them. For example, a member can decide that she only wants to consider men who are Veg-Aquariums (vegetarians who eats fish), politically liberal, far-left or Clintonians, and who are either Scientologists or “Cruisists.”
A virtual tour of SelectAlternatives can be found at www.selectalternatives.com.
