Time is running out to take advantage of the early registration discount for AAN’s Annual Convention in New Orleans, July 21-23.
Up until Friday, May 27, AAN members are eligible for sharply reduced rates: $199 per person or $499 to bring your entire staff and fill their heads with great ideas.
After May 27, the regular registration rate kicks in at $350 per person.
Here’s a recap of some of the great programming that’s already been announced:
- NPR interactive designer David Wright and New York Times interface developer Tyson Evans will present their highly popular, “Web Design on a Hobo’s Budget.”
- ABC News Senior White House Correspondent and former Washington City Paper writer Jake Tapper will be a keynote presenter.
- Renowned Guatemalan journalist José Rubén Zamora will address the attendees of AAN’s Free Speech Lunch.
- And several timely sessions on coupon deal trends, the comeback of long-form journalism, and monetization strategies for social media.
More sessions and speakers will be announced in the coming weeks, but the clock is ticking to snag the early rate.
In addition, AAN has reserved a block of rooms at the fabulous Ritz Carlton New Orleans at a special group rate of $139 per room, single or double occupancy. The AAN group guest room rate includes complimentary high speed internet access.
