FY09 ended two weeks ago, and I’ve got the numbers right here, fresh off my QuickBooks Reports tab.
Here’s the income statement (pdf) and here’s the balance sheet (pdf). As you can see, AAN ended the year with a net operating loss of a little over $2,000. We haven’t closed the books on the year yet, but our final loss is likely to be very close to that number.
Not bad, considering we were budgeted to lose $31,000. It’s also within a couple thousand dollars of my projection from back in June. I’m not snickering, but I’m content with the results.
So we know how to cut expenses. Now we just need to figure out how to generate revenue so AAN can return to its glory days of $1.5 million budgets!
