April 30 is the deadline to apply for an AAN Convention Scholarship, Next Generation Student Fund, and Next Generation Professional Fund.

The convention scholarships award individuals with up to $500 towards hotel and airfare to attend AAN’s Annual Convention in Detroit, June 7-9.

The Next Generation Student and Professional Funds are grants of up to $1,000 to support the development of the next generation of journalists and journalism managers in alternative newsmedia. The winning applicants will also receive free admission to the convention.
