AAN members have the opportunity to participate in a live webinar from Poynter’s NewsU that focuses on mobile media and producing news in the digital age.
“Mobile Media 101: Producing News with Your Smartphone” will be led by producer and new media expert Amani Channel, who will share tips, tricks and techniques that every journalist should know in this age of smartphones and digital media. The webinar’s content will include information on using smartphones to create news content, must-have smartphone applications and how to livestream video content from your phone to the web.
Through a partnership with Poynter’s News University, the first 25 AAN registrants for “Mobile Media 101” will get a special rate of $9.95.
The one-hour webinar will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 2 pm Eastern Time.
