Las Vegas Weekly and the Santa Barbara Independent were among the winners of the 2013 EPPY Awards, which are given out by Editor & Publisher to honor media affiliated websites.

The Santa Barbara Independent won “Best Weekly or Non-Daily Newspaper Website,” while Las Vegas Weekly took the prize for “Best Redesign/Relaunch.”
