MADISON, WI — Come Celebrate with the winners of the Isthmus Madison’s Favorite Readers Poll! Isthmus will close the 100 Block of East Main Street for the 2008 Madison’s Favorite Block Party on Saturday, August 16 from 7:00 p.m. to midnight. This is a free sneak peek of the Madison’s Favorites winners (Isthmus will officially announce the winners in the Annual Manual on August 21).

The outdoor party atmosphere will begin with mingling on the sidewalk and in the street over drinks and the Taste of Main Street, with food specials from Argus, The Local Tavern, Maduro and Casbah. There will be musical performances by Madison favorites Reptile Palace Orchestra and Houses in Motion. This event is sponsored by Isthmus.
