Several new columns and features made their debut last week on the AAN Web site.
The new “Ad News” column will feature headlines and links to stories about retail and classified advertising, drawn both from original reporting by AAN News and links to other online sources.
The new “Legal” section will focus on legal issues of interest to alternative newspapers.
Both new columns appear in the right rail of the Web site’s home page, in between the “Association News” and “Help Wanted” sections.
Both sections have also been included in the daily and weekly e-mail newsletters featuring content from the AAN Web site. (To unsubscribe from “Ad News” and “Legal”, newsletter subscribers should click here.)
AAN also added a directory for association committees in the “AAN Directories” section of the navigation bar.
The new committee directory — which defaults in alphabetical order to the Admissions Committee — can be found here.
