Effective June 26, 2002, Nuvo will be relocating to a new and exciting location from it’s long-time residence in Broad Ripple. Nuvo offices will now be located at 3951 N. Meridian Street in the 38th Street corridor. Phone numbers for Nuvo staff will stay the same.
“We are sad to be leaving our home in Broad Ripple where we have resided for over 11 years. Life has been good to us with plenty of parking, good food, walks on the Monon and nightly entertainment. But we have outgrown our space and we have always had a desire to move closer to the center of the city,” comments publisher Kevin McKinney.
At 38th and Meridian, Nuvo will be more centrally located for their readers and advertisers and to the sources of news and information which will make all of these interactions easier and more efficient. There will also be an available space for lease in the new building. Nuvo hopes that this space can be shared with other creative organizations.
“Our new neighborhood is one of the most diverse in the city and we are excited about the opportunity to be a part of its history,” added McKinney.
Tarkington Park, named after one of Indianapolis’ great literary figures, Booth Tarkington is located directly across the street from the new building. The city’s leadership has conceived of the Maple Street project to create a cultural corridor extending along 38th Street from the Art Museum to the Fairgrounds and from Butler University to the Children’s Museum. Nuvo looks forward to becoming a major contributor to this vision as well.
NUVO is Indy’s premiere arts and entertainment source and available at over 1200 locations throughout the city. For information, visit us at http://www.nuvo.net. ###
