Not content with merely planning and pulling off successful writing conferences, AAN editorial chair and Santa Fe Reporter editor Julia Goldberg has won a Santa Fe video competition for her short film, My So-Called Apocalypse, for which she and co-writer Andy Primm have been awarded $1,300 to expand into a 30-minute pilot project.

The plot, as described by Goldberg, is that “it’s my birthday and it’s a zombie apocalypse.” She says that a few scenes were shot in the Santa Fe Reporter office.
