SF Weekly has hired Mark Kemp as its editor-in-chief. Kemp was editor of Creative Loafing Charlotte from 2011 to 2013:
A native of North Carolina, Kemp replaces Brandon Reynolds, who has led editorial operations at SF Weekly since 2012. “I’m excited to take over at the SF Weekly, where I plan to strengthen its focus on city politics, culture and the arts,” Kemp said. “San Francisco is a city full of stories that I can’t wait to tell. We have a great staff and I look forward to seeing what we can do together.”
