Syracuse, NY; April 9, 2008 — The highly anticipated Historical Photos edition of the Syracuse New Times hits the stands! The photo-filled flash back features a look at the 40-year lifespan of the New Times, concentrated in the past 26 years, which is how long multiple award-winning photographer Michael Davis has worked here. All were shot before Davis went digital just about three years ago. Readers will also find a page devoted to local businesses and institutions that submitted photos in response to our request for them. From St. Joseph’s Hospital to Lemp Jewelers and Brooklyn Pickle, the journey down memory lane is educational as well as humorous.

Not only is this Historic Photos edition a first all its own, but at 104 pages, this is the largest edition of the New Times ever.
