BenitoLink is a nonprofit, primarily online news organization created in 2012 and based in San Benito County. BenitoLink was born out of a two-year visioning process which involved listening to nearly a thousand county residents. Residents asked for a trusted news source that would cover local government and keep those in power accountable. BenitoLink is a community supported newsroom with an ongoing internship program. It also hosts non-partisan events like community listening sessions, town halls and election forums.
