Crosswinds News – or simply Crosswinds – is an independent, Native-owned newsroom based on the Muscogee Nation Reservation. Primarily Native-focused and Native-staffed, Crosswinds has worked with community members, cultural advisors, and mission-aligned organizations since 2022, connecting Native families and allies from the heart of Indian Country.

As a community news organization, Crosswinds engages in community listening, develops resources, hosts in-person events and creates safe spaces where people can come together. Through this work, they support Native perspectives, honor cultural knowledge, and encourage conversations that help move people toward understanding and peace.
