Michael Miner reports that Chicago Reader managing editor Kiki Yablon will replace Alison True — who was fired last month — as editor. He says that Yablon is “exceptionally popular” with the paper’s editorial staff.
In addition, the Reader is bringing in Geoff Dougherty, president and founder of the Chicago Current, as associate publisher to Alison Draper.
It was also announced that Draper, who had technically been the acting publisher, will assume the job permanently.
