Changes are complete for the AAN Classified Advertising Network (AAN CAN) program effective immediately. New multi-week discounts and new regional rates are now in effect for all advertisers. These regional rates have been adjusted to reflect the current combined circulations of the newspapers making up the eight AAN CAN regions.
Additionally, an investigation into AAN CAN advertisers was undertaken over the Spring and the findings were distributed to AAN CAN participants.
A monthly e-newsletter will be available to all individuals associated with the program that will keep members updated on future changes, contests, special incentives and selling ideas. The first issue was emailed in mid-June. Anyone who did not receive that e-newsletter can sign up for future issues at sroswell (at) aan.org.
A new media kit (with benefits, demographics, circulations, rates and insertion order) plus the report on the investigation can both be found in the Resource Library at aan.org. The new insertion order is also available in the AAN CAN section of the website.
