Philly convention draws 15,000

AAN staffed a booth at this year’s Society of Human Resource Managers Conference in Philadelphia June 23-25.

The annual conference drew about 15,000 human resource managers from around the country as well as 1,200 exhibitors, a conference record, according to the HR Convention Daily newsletter.

The AAN booth offered recruitment professionals a chance to look at AAN papers from across the country and take away one of the association’s demographic information sheets targeted for recruitment advertisers.

Advertising directors and sales reps from both the Philadelphia City Paper and Philadelphia Weekly also attended the conference and trade show.

This was the first time AAN has attended the giant human resource managers conference.
