Classified Network Sales Surge By 200%

Orlando Weekly's Dorinda Bowers Nets Five-Week Contract.

In just its fifth week of operation, AAN’s national classified network (AAN CAN) experienced a week-over-week revenue increase of over 200%, reports Adam Ebbin, AAN Director of Marketing and Media Relations.

New advertisers this week are:

*, an e-commerce business opportunities site (regional ad sold by Seven Days Classifieds Manager Glenn Severance);

* Foley Entertainment, Inc., which seeks music acts with a finished product to shop to record labels (two-week regional ad sold by Icon Ad Executive Adam Robinson);

* Prosperity Partners, which offers cash for annuities, lottery payments, etc. (five-week national ad sold by Orlando Weekly’s National Classified Sales Executive Dorinda Bowers);

* CBD Research Eclipti-Cal, a diet supplement and Condor Lodge & Beach Resort, found at (both national ads sold by the AAN office).

Says Ebbin, “The smart sales by AAN classified reps around the country are making this program a rapid success. As more and more papers take advantage of AAN CAN to earn 25% commissions for their papers, we expect the program to become a valuable revenue stream for the Association.”

Ebbin advised classified reps to suggest regional AAN CAN buys for vacation rental advertisers as well as for all dot com classified advertisers that fit within the program’s guidelines.
