Delivered while it's hot

AAN News is now available as a customizable, summary newsletter delivered via e-mail either daily or weekly.

Both AAN members and non-members can subscribe to the service, choosing items from the following menu: Industry News, This Week in Alternative Newsweeklies, Association News, Letters to the Editor, Help Wanted and Press Releases.

The service is currently text only; an HTML version may be added in the future. The newsletter will be delivered early in the morning on non-holiday weekdays. The weekly version will move early Monday mornings.

While AAN members may be initially the largest subscriber group, AAN hopes to use the e-mail newsletter to increase exposure for the alternative newspaper business to the larger media community.

“We’re going to do our best to get it out to other media to highlight the work of our papers,” says AAN Executive Director Richard Karpel.
