PHILADELPHIA–Consumers nationwide now have the ultimate find – an-apartment tool.

While in a neighborhood, mobile users can now see apartments for rent using cell phones equipped with global positioning system (GPS) technology.

Smarter Agent, the premier provider of “location-aware” mobile real estate applications, is pre-announcing the launch of APTS FOR RENT to the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies (AAN) members.

AAN members can benefit by putting their advertiser’s classified listings on the Smarter Agent platform, branded with their masthead.

APTS FOR RENT by Smarter Agent instantly returns information about the closest apartments for rent to a user’s cell phone. Information includes rental price, apartment features, pictures and instant connection to the apartment owner to schedule an appointment.

The mobile application has a lot of features that makes finding apartments fun and easy to use.

For example, Smarter Agent includes a GPS mapping function. By selecting ‘Map It,’ the user can see his or her location and all of the apartments for rent in an area on an interactive map. In addition, the user can search by city and state to research multiple areas of interest, save properties to their phone, or call the listed number for more information right from the application.

Smarter Agent covers all major markets in the United States. The consumer can conduct unlimited apartment searches when they are in the neighborhood where they want to live, or by entering a city, zip code or address of an area they are planning to move.
