Well-known speakers and good facilities earned the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies' 2006 Annual Convention good ratings in the evaluation survey. Ninety-eight percent of attendees agreed that the convention was a success, and 63 percent said they strongly agreed -- a striking increase from the 34 percent of participants who strongly agreed that the 2005 Convention in San Diego was a success. Particularly notable are the high marks given to featured speaker Bill Clinton and sales presenter Helen Sutton.
