ATLANTA — January 5, 2005 — It’s a new year, and time for a new edition of Creative Loafing’s Political Party! State Sen. Sam Zamarripa; Rusty Paul, former state senator; M. Alexis Scott, CEO/publisher of The Atlanta Daily World; and actor/producer Stacii Jae Johnson are set to headline the first Political Party of 2005 on Jan. 12 at Dad’s Garage Theatre.

Co-produced by Creative Loafing, Dad’s Garage and Hands On Atlanta, The Political Party gives Atlantans a chance to hear and meet the region’s leading politicians, media personalities and artists as they address the hot topics of the day. Creative Loafing editor Ken Edelstein moderates (and occasionally restores order to) the candid, informative, impassioned, funny and sometimes a bit fierce sessions, which are held the second Wednesday of every month.
