$4 million anti-abortion Super Bowl ad to feature the decision of University of Florida star quarterback Tim Tebow's mother not to have a doctor-recommended abortion in the 1980s, sources report.
After laying off 150 workers earlier this year, Colorado Springs-based Focus on the Family is pursuing plans to buy $4 million worth of anti-abortion ads during CBS-TV’s coverage of Super Bowl XLIV on Feb. 7, 2010, multiple sources have told the Colorado Springs Independent.
One of the ads, a 30-second spot, would air during the game itself. Focus officials refused to admit or deny.
