Advertising/Design Awards Winners Honored in Phoenix

Board decides to cancel contest due to lack of participation.

On Friday, June 3rd, AAN toasted the winners of its third annual Advertising and Design Awards competition. The LA Weekly racked up a staggering fourteen awards, including four first place wins. Other big winners included the Baltimore City Paper, Willamette Week, Washington City Paper, Westword, Chicago Reader, Cincinnati CityBeat and OC Weekly.

For the time being, this will be the final year of competition: on Tuesday, May 30, the AAN Board of Directors voted to suspend the contest due to a lack of participation from member papers.
