AAN Digital + TMC 2015: February 5-7, 2015

Registration for the 2015 AAN Digital Conference in San Francisco is now open.

This year, AAN will be holding its first-ever joint conference with The Media Consortium (TMC), an organization dedicated to increasing the impact of progressive news, which includes Mother Jones, Grist, The Nation, Democracy Now! and the Utne Reader among its members.

In San Francisco, AAN and TMC will explore opportunities to nationalize local news and localize national news; learn from our different but complementary revenue models; explore new monetization and digital ideas; and share strategies to develop a stronger independent news sector.

The conference will take place at the Argonaut Hotel, February 5-7, 2015. The early registration rate for AAN members is $200 per person through January 12.

The Media Consortium will offer a half-day editorial workshop on police and the media on Thursday morning. This workshop is included as part of registration and AAN members are welcome to attend. Full programming will kick off at 1 p.m. on Thursday, as in previous years.
