Kevin Slimp, director of the Institute of Newspaper Technology, and Russell Viers, founder of Digiversity.tv, will join together for nine days of training in three cities this summer. Dubbed the “Slimp & Viers Creative Tour,” these two newspaper-consulting veterans will offer three days of intense training in each city. The events will take place in Lansing, Mich. (July 14-16), Springfield, Ill. (July 18-20) and Greensboro, N.C. (August 4-6).
The daily schedule in each city looks like this:

The registration fee for each of these events is $150 per day. Members of the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies will receive a $50 per day discount, bringing the cost down to $100 per day.
