Las Vegas — Scott Dickensheets is back as editor of Las Vegas Weekly. And Greenspun Media Group couldn’t be happier.
A 15-year veteran of the Las Vegas journalism scene, Dickensheets returns to GMG after a brief hiatus. His previous positions with the company include editing and writing positions at Weekly, Las Vegas Life and Las Vegas Sun. Before joining the company, Dickensheets worked for Allied Arts Council, where he acquired his long-standing interest in the arts and culture of Southern Nevada.
“We’re fortunate to have Scott back in the saddle at Las Vegas Weekly,” said Bruce Spotleson, group publisher for GMG. “He’s one of the most talented journalists in Nevada, and one of the best editors I’ve ever been associated with.”
In his new role, Scott will supervise and manage all editorial functions of the Weekly.
